Beatrice Czajkowski of Waukesha died Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at age 91. She was born in Milwaukee on Jan. 10, 1920, the daughter of John and Josephine (nee Steiner) Datka.
On May 2, 1942, she married Frank Czajkowski in Milwaukee. Beatrice was an excellent seamstress and was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Sharon (the late Bill) Phillips of Eagle and Karen (George) McLaughlin of Chestertown, Md.; and her dear grandchildren, Erinn (Jason) Stromberg, Marnie Phillips, Katie (Paul) Harris and Grant and Reid McLaughlin. She is further survived by eight great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, as well as her brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral Mass on Saturday, Aug. 27, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave., Waukesha. The Rev. Howard Haase will preside. Entombment will immediately follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield.
