Felix Hurtado Jr.

Felix Hurtado Jr. was born into eternal life Friday, Aug. 26, 2011, at the age of 76 with his family by his side.
Felix battled a terminal illness with great courage and his strong faith.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Barbara; his five children, Debbie (Bill) Mikich, Rick (Dawn) Hurtado, Roxanne (Joe) Gomez, Sandy Hurtado and Felix Hurtado III; six grandchildren, Cassandra (Anibal) Virgen, Dustin Hurtado, Billy Mikich, Collin Gallagher, Rebecca and Nicolas Gomez; great-grandchild, Kegan Newman-Gomez; his brother, Juan (Rosa) Hurtado; sister, Vicky (Mike) Herrera; and his best friends, Tom Camacho and Otto Krueger. He was loved by and will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Josephine and Feliciano Hurtado; his sister, Mary; and brothers, Felipe and Chico Hurtado.
Felix proudly served our country for three years in the U.S. Marine Corps and retired from Wisconsin Centrifugal.
The family would like to send our sincere thanks to the Milwaukee V.A. Hospital and Seasons Hospice for their care and compassion.
In life we loved you dearly and in death you will always be in our hearts. A part of us went with you the day GOD took you home. One day we will all be together.

Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 4, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha, followed by a 4 p.m. service and military honors. Inurnment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove will be held at a later date.
