Marcella M. Meidenbauer

Marcella M. Meidenbauer, 84, of Friendship, passed away peacefully Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011, at Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship.
Marcella was born Feb. 9, 1927, in Mayville, to Clarence and Vanda (Voeltz) Manthey.
She married John Meidenbauer on Sept. 4, 1943, in Waukesha.
Marcella enjoyed bowling, golfing, quilting, baking, traveling, gardening and going on casino trips.
She was a member of the Tuesday Ladies Golf League at Moundview Golf Course, a Tuesday afternoon bowling league and also a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Adams.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Meidenbauer; daughter, Dawn Balistreri; parents, Clarence and Vanda Manthey; grandson, Kenneth Balistreri; brother, Donald Manthey; and sisters-in-law, Jane Field and Doris Sperl.
She is survived by her very special friend and traveling companion, Richard Skotzke of Friendship; son, John (Denise) Meidenbauer of North Prairie; daughter, Debra (Bill) Pfeiffer of Adams; granddaughters, Michelle (Erik) Jorgensen of Friendship, Kari (Dave) Reynolds of Whitewater, Nicole Hochschild of Chicago and Megan Hochschild of Milwaukee; grandsons, Will (Nicole) Roberts of Adams and Mark Meidenbauer of Honolulu, Hawaii; great-granddaughters, Kalie Hickey of Baraboo and Alyssa Hickey of Friendship; great-grandsons, Colton Roberts of Columbus, Brian Hartman of Adams and Deegan Hartman of Adams; great-granddaughters, Sarah Reynolds of Whitewater, Kailey Reynolds of Whitewater, Miranda Reynolds of Whitewater and Zoey Hartman of Adams; sister, Delores Emslie of Waukesha; sisters-in-law, Lois Ott of Waukesha, Fern Seybold of Waukesha and Barb Manthey of Waukesha; and brothers-in-law, Dale (Lois) Meidenbauer of Florida and Dean Field of Waukesha. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins & other relatives
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the 3 p.m. funeral service Thursday, Dec. 8, at the Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship. The Rev. Karyn Bodenschatz will officiate. Interment will be at the Mount Repose Cemetery, Friendship.
