Frances ‘Fritzie’ (nee Zick) Bischel

Frances "Fritzie" (nee Zick) Bischel, 93, of Dousman, passed away Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011.

Frances is survived by her children, Karen (Jerry) Vrshek, Diane Rezagholi, Ellen (Ken) Germain and Mark Bischel. She was a grandmother to Christine Rezagholi, Susan (Tom) Staunton, Allison Germain and Danielle Germainm and great-grandmother to Hailey Staunton. Frances is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Frances was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Carol "Kid" Bischel; brothers, Edward, Matthew and Sherb; sisters, Lucille Miller, Jeanette Rees and Eleanor Rose; and parents, Michael and Emma Zick.

Fritzie and Kid were owners of Bischel Brothers Hardware, Plumbing and Heating in Dousman for 20 years. She resided at Three Pillars in Dousman since 1991, where she was an active volunteer. She was a member of the Oconomowoc Hospital Auxiliary and Women’s Club. Fritzie was an avid golfer and card player and was a longtime member of the Kettle Moraine Golf Club. She was also a parishioner of St. Bruno Catholic Church in Dousman.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Friday, Dec. 16, at St. Bruno Catholic Church in Dousman. Burial will follow the service at St. Bruno Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Bruno Catholic Church or Three Pillars Senior Living Communities in Dousman.
