Richard R. Krueger

Richard R. Krueger, age 72, a resident of Naperville, Ill., and formerly a longtime resident of Waukesha, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, at Edward Hospital in Naperville.

He was born March 7, 1939 in Sheboygan. Mr. Krueger was an Army veteran and had worked for 37 years for the Canadian Pacific Railroad. He had been a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Pewaukee and later Resurrection Lutheran Church in Aurora, Ill.

He is survived by his wife, Jan I. (nee Dow) Krueger; two daughters, Courtney (Michael) Bowey of Waukesha and Shelley (Chris) Fowle of Eagle; and one son, Rick Krueger of Mesa, Ariz. He was the beloved Papa of Amber, Christian and Krystal Bowey and Christopher, Lindsey and Andrew Fowle.

He is further survived by two brothers, Earle Krueger Jr. of Hudson, Fla., and Gary (Maryanne) Krueger of Lodi; two sisters, Marsha (Art) Heim of Waukesha and Ginny (Dave) Larson of Washington, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earle and Corita Krueger.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011, at Christ Lutheran Church, W240-N3103 Pewaukee Road in the City of Pewaukee. A visitation will be held at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be private.
