Theresa Jeanne Santo Aug. 12, 1928 – Dec. 19, 2011
She was preceded in death by parents Edwin and Mary Piel; brothers Dean, Edgar, Jerry, Kenneth and Vernon; and sisters Marlene and Delores (John) Vrabel, and grandson Brandon Stowe. Terry’s faith, courage and zest for life have been a comfort to her family during her long illness. Her passion for her favorite hobbies of fishing, sewing, playing cards and entertaining family and friends never waned, despite her failing health. Her kind and generous heart will be missed by all who knew her. Her family is eternally grateful to the caregivers at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital and Angel’s Grace for the wonderful care, compassion and respect shown to our beloved Terry. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 26, at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Highway 83, North Lake. Visitation will be at the church from 1 p.m. until the time of the Mass. Final rest will be in St. Joan of Arc Cemetery, Oconomowoc. Evert-Luko,

Theresa
Jeanne Santo (nee Piel) passed away peacefully on Dec. 19, 2011,
surrounded by her husband, Robert, of 63 years and loving family. She was
born in Augusta on Aug. 12, 1928. Theresa was the beloved mother of 10
children: Rebecca Lodewick, David (Mary), Michael, Daniel (Karey),
Jeannette (Michael McMurray), Faith Wenrich, Nancy (Tom) Wheatley, Mary
(James) Syburg, Frederick (Tiffany), and Timothy (Kathleen). She was the
dearest grandmother to Jason, Marcia, Elizabeth, Matthew, Cassandra,
Jessica, Daniel, Amy, Ben, Kathryn, Gretchen, Austin, Robert, Nathan,
Anna, and Miranda, and nine great-grandchildren. She is survived by sister
Nancy Glander.
