BIG FLATS
Frank W. Bonus Jr.
Dec. 13, 1939 – Jan. 31, 2011
Frank
W. Bonus Jr., 71, of Big Flats, was born into eternal life Monday, Jan.
31, 2011, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
Frank was born Dec. 13, 1939, in Waukesha, to Frank W. and Ann Bonus Sr.
He married Rosemary Cavaleri on April 4, 1959, at St. Joseph’s Catholic
Church in Waukesha.
Frank worked as a laborer at Spancrete for most of his life. Following
his retirement, he moved “uppa north” to Big Flats, where he enjoyed the
outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening, splitting wood, joy rides on his
four-wheeler, and most of all, he cherished his moments by the campfire
with his many grandchildren who referred to him as Papa. He will forever
live in our hearts, his spirit carrying on through all generations to
come.
He loved his traditional Sunday afternoon Packers games a great deal,
and although he is one week short of the Super Bowl, he now holds the
best seat in the house! As Papa/Frank loved his team so, in honor of him
we ask all who attend the funeral services to dress in Packers attire.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ann Bonus Sr., and
four sisters, Dodie, Mary Jane, Jackie and Shirley.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Bonus of Big Flats; sister Jean
Goralski of Pewaukee; brother-in-law George (Shirley) Cavaleri of Big
Flats; son Joseph (Linda) Bonus of Dousman; daughter Tamara (Brian Sr.)
Bonus-Williams of Friendship; son Michael (Rohnda) Bonus Sr. of
