Carlyle Holtan, 88, of Oconomowoc, passed away Friday, Jan. 28, 2011. Carlyle was born Nov. 23, 1922, in Morrisonville to Carl and Martha (nee Thorson) Holtan.

He served as a vocational agriculture teacher in Blue River, Viroqua and Oconomowoc, where he also served as superintendent of transportation.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service Monday, Feb. 7, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 145 E. Lisbon Road, Oconomowoc.
