Doris I. Hasslinger
Feb. 4, 1932 – Jan. 30, 2011
Doris I. Hasslinger, 78, of Delafield, died peacefully Sunday, Jan. 30,
2011, at AngelsGrace Hospice.
She was born Feb. 4, 1932, in Delafield, a daughter of Willard and
Eleanora (Oldenhoff) Koester. Doris graduated from Oconomowoc High School
and Waukesha County Technical College.
Doris enjoyed exercising, singing in a choral group, knitting,
embroidering, crocheting and spending time with her children and
grandchildren.
Doris is survived by her children, Diane (Michael) Stewart of Oak Hill,
Gail (the Rev. David) Norwood of Wapato, Wash., Jean (Timothy) Fohey of
Dousman, Linda Hasslinger (Steve Hoffman) of Sheboygan and Ron (Cathy)
Hasslinger of Oregon. She was the fond sister of Beatrice (Roland) Krueger
of Hartford, Phyllis Krahn of Watertown and Clarence (Carol) Koester. She
is also survived by her 14 grandchildren, 30 greatgrandchildren, nieces,
nephews, dear friends James and LaVerne Bindrich, other relatives and many
other dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Richard and
Warren, and her sister, Karen Weibel.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until the 6 p.m. memorial service
Thursday, Feb. 3, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 470 N. Oak Crest Drive,
Wales.
