June 30, 1919 – Jan. 29, 2011

Mildred G. "Milly" Jensen of Waukesha passed away peacefully at her home Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at the age of 91. Milly was born June 30, 1919, the daughter of Emil and Laura Gruett in Wauwatosa.

She married the love of her life, Walter Jensen, on May 3, 1952. Milly was a longtime member of the Evangelical & Reformed United Church of Christ, where she volunteered. She was also a member of the Sarah Circle, Oakdale Home Makers Group and the W.O.W (Widow and Widowers Group). Milly enjoyed swimming at the YWCA and was an avid Packers fan, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Milly will be sadly missed by her children, Laurie (Bruce) Ellenson of Waukesha and Brian Jensen of Milwaukee. She is the loving grandmother of Ryan (Jennifer) Ellenson, Brandon Ellenson and Brett Ellenson and proud greatgrandmother of Logan Ellenson. She is further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; son, John Jensen; brother, Harold Gruett; sister, Marion Funking; and brothers and sisters-in law.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the 3 p.m. funeral service Saturday, Feb. 5, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. The Rev. Ralph Schultz will officiate. Burial will be private at Pinelawn Cemetery.
