Gerald R. ‘Jerry’ Kind of Waukesha entered God’s loving arms on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, surrounded by his loving family.

He was the beloved husband for 28 1/2 years to Christine “Tina” (nee Vestal); loving father of Kevin (Danette), Kerry (Gina), Julie Laurent, and Brian Green; fond brother of Duane (Jan) and Dean Kind; and proud grandfather of eight. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Jerry worked at Amron for 35 years and the Ten Chimneys Foundation for 10 years as a groundskeeper. His passion was for landscaping projects, reading, cards and spending time with his family and friends. He also loved traveling.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church, 2016 Center Road, Waukesha, with a funeral service at 6 p.m. Private entombment will be at Prairie Home Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ the Servant Church or the Ten Chimneys Foundation in memory of Jerry.
