James H. ‘Jim’ Bell
James
H. "Jim" Bell of Waukesha died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, at home
surrounded by his loving family at the age of 73.
James was born in 1937 in Crandon, the son of
Gerald and Abigail (Plummer) Bell. He was an active member of St. Anthony
on the Lake Catholic Church and was a lector at church. Jim worked at
Gerber Products for 38 years before retiring. He was a member of the Naga-Waukee
Men’s Golf Club in Pewaukee and played fastpitch softball in Milwaukee
for Pitch’s bar. Jim loved spending time with his family.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Patricia (nee Strobel) Bell, whom he married July 6, 1957; his children, Debra (Gregg)
Fox, Timothy (Kelly) Bell, Cathleen (Bruce) Winchell, Jay (Debbie) Bell
and Andrew (Debbie) Bell; his grandchildren, Emily, Kelsey, Haley, Ashley,
Mike, Grady, Katy, Ty, Sarah, Madeleine, Mason and Matthew; his
great-granddaughter, Grace; his brothers, John (Doris), Terry (Diane) and
Mike (Mary); and his sister, Sandra.
James is preceded in death by his parents; his
brother, Russell; and his sister, Jacqueline.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the
noon memorial Mass on Thursday, Feb.17, at St. Anthony on the Lake
Catholic Church, W280-N2101 Prospect Ave., Pewaukee. The Revs. Anthony
Zimmer and Joseph Hornacek will be co-celebrating.
