Stanley L. Hyland, 90, passed away Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc.

Stan was born Nov.12, 1920, in Radcliffe, Iowa, the son of Sigfred and Johanna (Pederson) Hyland. On Jan. 29, 1943, he married the former Charlotte Drewes in Spring Valley, Minn; she preceded him in death Feb. 2, 2000. Stan retired in 1982 from Fred Howe Motors.

Survivors include his children, Leslie J. (Grace) Hyland of Richland Center, Neil G. Hyland of Phoenix, Karen H. (John) Kohl of Eatonville, Wash., Daniel G. (Gail) Hyland of Mukwonago, Andrew S. Hyland of Monroe, James R. Hyland of Phoenix and Robert W. Hyland of Waukesha; 17 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Glenn Hyland of Sturtevant, Minn., and Lester Hyland of Spring Valley; and other relatives and friends.

In addition to his wife, he was further preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Arnold; and a sister, Myrtle.

Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until the 2:30 p.m. memorial service Wednesday, Feb. 23, at Reformation Evangelical Lutheran Church, S39-W32887 Highway D, Dousman, with the Rev. Wayne Meier officiating.
