Laurel G. Kling

Laurel G. Kling of Waukesha died peacefully Wednesday, Feb. 16,
2011, at the Virginia Health & Rehabilitation Center at the age of 94.
Laurel was born Sept. 26, 1916, the son of Duncan and Lilah Kling in the
Town of Eagle. He married Iola Corrine (nee Storlie) on July 13, 1935.
Laurel was an electrical contractor, working at Universal Milking
Machine, Wilbur Lumber, Riverside Mold & Die and Accurate Products for
45 years.
Laurel will be sadly and deeply missed by his daughter, Deanna (Ralph)
Schirmacher of Waukesha. He is further survived by his grandchildren,
Sandra (Jeff) Wilcox of Waukesha, Penny (Mark) Beller of Watertown,
Brian Schirmacher of Waukesha, Josephine (Michael) Burdette of
Milwaukee, Dennis Kling of Okauchee, Douglas (Diane) Kling of Waukesha
and Corrine (Joe) Fink of Waukesha; his great-grandchildren, Jeffrey
Wilcox Jr., Michael Burdette, Raymond Burdette, Duane Kling and Derek
Kling; and other relatives and friends.
Laurel was preceded in death by his loving wife of 73 years, Iola; his
parents; sons, Dale, Duane and Darold; his two sisters; and one brother.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 21, at
Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd.,
Waukesha. Interment with a committal prayer will immediately follow the
visitation at Prairie Home Cemetery.
