LeRoy A. Jackson, 74, was born to eternal life Thursday, Feb. 18, 2011, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital after a short illness. He was born to Orlan and Aveline (nee Nelson) Jackson on July 8, 1936.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Joyce (Drydyk) Jackson, whom he married June 29, 1960. He is further survived by his loving brother, Gary (Mary) of Waukesha; his sister and brother-in-law, Skip and Nancy Cramer; two nieces, three nephews, two great-nieces, two great-nephews and one great-great niece, Emma; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Darrell.

LeRoy was a Vietnam veteran and retired after 20 years at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service Wednesday, Feb. 23, at Yonke and Son Funeral Home, 205 Prospect Ave., Pewaukee. Interment will be in Union Grove at a time unspecified.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of 5NW at Waukesha Memorial Hospital for their TLC in caring for LeRoy.

In lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated to the family.
