Martin K. Yuhas
July 23, 1950 – Feb. 24, 2011
Martin K. Yuhas of Oconomowoc lost his courageous battle with brain
cancer on Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011.
He is survived by Nancy, his loving wife of 41 years. He was the dear
father of Trevor (Melinda) Yuhas and Tyler (Heather) Yuhas, both of
Jefferson, and Trista (Bryan) Meier of Hartford; grandpa of Mariah,
Mikayla and Mataya; papa to Luke, Bryson and Kyler; and brother of
Dennis (Mary Beth) of Titusville, Fla., Kevin (Rosie) of Appleton, Carol
(Jim) Munday of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Cynthia (Bob) Staub of Montgomery,
Ala., Marsha Rich (his twin) of Lavergne, Tenn., and Geri Wasczak of
Jackson. He is further survived by his mother-in-law, Bette Rougeau of
Port Orange, Fla. and sisters-in-law Cheryl Pike of Waukesha and Cindee
Richardson of Milwaukee.
He is also survived by other relatives and friends. He will be deeply
missed by his dog, Zoie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Al and Lucille Yuhas; his
brothers, Thomas, Duane and Sean; and sisters, Nancy Koloski and Beverly
Friske.
Marty retired in 1996 from Navistar after 26 years and moved to
Nashville shortly after retiring. He spent five years enjoying new found
friends and loving country music. Best of all, he enjoyed taking
out-of-town visitors to downtown Nashville to the bars to hear the Wanna
Bee’s. Marty has always kept busy fixing and tinkering with things. He
enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren.
Friends may visit from 4 p.m. until the 6 p.m. funeral service Monday,
Feb. 28, at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd.,
Waukesha.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
