Tore “John” Karlsson of Waukesha found peace Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, at the age of 96. He was born Nov. 27, 1914, to Nestor and Jenny Karlsson in Brastad, Sweden.

He was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth “Betty” (nee Davis) Karlsson.
He is survived by his daughter, Lisa LePine, her husband David, and their children, Sara and Erik; his daughter, Jennifer Karlsson, her husband Michael Ellifson, and their children Blair and Grant; and siblings Hugo, Erik, Walter and Rolf.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; siblings, Elin, Elsa, Folke and Gote; and his granddaughter, Lea Karlsson Ellifson.

In accordance with his wishes, no services were held.
