Ruth Anna Krook

June 8, 1917 – Jan. 7, 2011

Ruth Anna Krook (nee Gill) died Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, at age 93.

She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Krook, D.D.S.; loving mother of Judy (Ron) Wittmier, Frank (Susan) Witthun, Dennis (Jeanne) Witthun and Scott (Mickey) Witthun; dear grandmother of Lisa (Jeff) Breuer, Daniel (Dana) Podoll, Christopher Podoll, Jeff (Brenda) Witthun, David (Whitney) Witthun, Jason Witthun, Dennis Witthun Jr., Kathy (Andy) Kirkbride, Steve Witthun, Kim (Eric) Fintel, Mary (Mark) Hoppe, Scott (Lisa) Witthun and Lindsay (Erik) Dieringer; great-grandmother of 23; and sister of June Zack and Marion Bingenheimer. She is further survived by nieces, nephews and the family of Dr. Robert Krook.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Jon.

Ruth was a charter member of Galilee Lutheran Church in Pewaukee.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the 11:45 a.m. funeral service Tuesday, Jan. 11, at Harder Funeral Home, 18700 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield. Her final rest will be at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
