Helen Mary Jurczyk

Helen Mary Jurczyk died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011, at her home in Dousman at the age of 89. She was born in Milwaukee on Feb. 16, 1921, the daughter of Frank and Julia (nee Klafka) Jurczyk.

Helen owned Chasí Waubeese Resort for 10 years on Waubeese Lake. Helen was employed at Allen Bradley. She was a member of St. Paulís Catholic Church in Genesee Depot and St. Brunoís Catholic Church in Dousman. She resided in Milwaukee until she was 50, then moved to Waukesha County.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Lamae Jurczyk of Helenville, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was recently preceded in death by her brother, Peter Jurczyk, as well as 10 other brothers and sisters.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 24, at St. Paulís Catholic Church, at the corner of highways 83 and D in Genesee Depot. Interment will follow at St. Paulís Cemetery in Genesee.
