Shirley ‘Jaye’ Kasprzak (formerly Setzer)

Shirley "Jaye" Kasprzak (formerly Setzer) (nee Delworth) of Mukwonago became at rest with her Lord on Friday, July 1, 2011, at the age of 76.

Jaye will be dearly missed by her loving husband, Bob; sons, Raymond (Heidi Jenkins) Setzer and Paul (Michelle) Setzer; stepchildren, Lynn (Rick) Bayer, Scott (Gerilynn) Kasprzak and Kim (Eric) Adamovich; 10 grandchildren; special friend, Rose; and two sisters, Corinne and Genevieve.

Jaye was preceded in death by her precious son, Colin Setzer; parents, Harry and Violet (nee Baette) Delworth; and three siblings, Douglas, Hank and Dorothy.

Jaye was a dedicated Milwaukee Public School paraprofessional who loved children, enjoyed gardening, singing, acting and theater. After retirement, she continued to actively volunteer in her community.

She was devoted to her faith, and a loving wife and mother. At St. James Parish, she taught CCD classes, tutored in the elementary school, sang in the church choir and cantored at church services. She also started and organized the first resale book booth for the parish festival.

Within the community, she participated in the Mukwonago Village Players as an actress, sang with the Mukwonago Choral Union and volunteered at the Mukwonago Public Library as "Pitty Patt," a storybook reader. Her volunteerism extended beyond her back yard as a volunteer at the Milwaukee Repertoire Theater.

This is our "Jaye"; she will never be forgotten because she will always be in our hearts.

The family wishes to thank Seasons Hospice in Waukesha and their staff for all the care and attention they provided Jaye and the family during this trying time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be donated to Jaye's favorite charities.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Saturday, July 9, at St. James Catholic Parish, 830 Highway NN East, Mukwonago, with an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian burial to follow. Burial is private.

Church and Chapel Funeral Home is serving the family. For more information, call 549-0659 or visit to view the online obituary or leave condolences.
