William E. ‘Bill’ Ohm Sr.

June 18, 1921 - July 23, 2011

William E. "Bill" Ohm Sr. of Waukesha died Saturday, July 23, 2011, at the age of 90. Bill was born June 18, 1921. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Estelle Marie Sochr, on Jan. 3, 1942.

They had celebrated 66 years of marriage. Bill was an Area Manufacturing Manager at the time of his retirement from Harley-Davidson Motor Co. in 1984. He was an avid stamp collector, hunter, fisherman and gardener. Bill cherished watching the Brewers and Packers, but he most enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bill will be deeply missed by his sons, Bill (the late Eileen) Ohm of New Berlin and Dick (Holly) Ohm of Mukwonago; his five grandchildren, Eric (Susan), William James (Brenda), Jason, Beth (Mike) Ivey and Danielle (Brian) Shira; and 13 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Estelle.

Visitation for Bill will be held from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today, July 26, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. Private family services will be held Wednesday, July 27. Entombment will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield.
