Albert S. Anderson, 78, died Tuesday, June 7, 2011, at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc with his loving wife, Jean, by his side.

He leaves behind the love of his life, Jean (Zimmerman) Anderson; two very beloved daughters, Wendy (Kevin) Hermening and Tammy Kappelman; his stepson, Ken (Julie) Ebert; grandchildren, Kacey and Kaitlyn Hermening, Erin and Sean Hollister; and a granddaughter, Rycki Ebert. Albert is also survived by a sister, Virginia (Lesile, deceased) Beaster, and many other relatives, nieces, nephews and friends. Albert’s special friend, "Macy," his Bichon, will greatly miss him.

Albert was preceded in death by his loving parents, Albert and Elsie; and three brothers, Laurel, Robert and Harold.

Albert was born May 23, 1933, to Albert and Elsie (Moll) Anderson. He lived in Waukesha all his life, until four years ago when he moved to Sussex. He graduated from Waukesha High School in 1951. He loved sports and was especially proud to be his high school’s quarterback for the 1950 and 1951 season. His love of sports continued the rest of his life, never missing a single Badgers or Packers game. Albert won’t be seen, but you will find him sitting at the 50-yard line of all future Packers games.

Albert was drafted into the Army in 1953 and served in Korea. Albert was very proud to work in the maintenance department at the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha for the last 13 years.

Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until the 4 p.m. funeral service Sunday, June 12, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc.
