Leatha May Dollhopf April 10, 1926 - June 27, 2011
Leatha married Gilbert Dollhopf Jr. on Sept. 13, 1947, in Yuma, Ariz. The couple moved to Milwaukee, where they raised their family. Leatha worked for more than 30 years for Lake County Manufacturing in Hartland. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, needle work and making crafts. More than anything, she loved her family and all the wonderful memories she made with them. She is survived by her husband, Gilbert Dollhopf of Ashland; three daughters, Diana (Gerald) Rea of Mason, Debra (Clifford) Rupnow of Ixonia and Doreen (Alan) Cox of Gooding, Idaho; four sons, Timmy Dollhopf of Hartland, Terry (Pia) Dollhopf of California, Dennis Dollhopf of Milwaukee and Edward Dollhopf of Ashippun; 15 grandchildren; a son-in-law, Jeffrey Meyer of Green Oaks, Ill.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Donna Meyer and Denise Dollhopf; a son, Ronald Dollhopf; and a brother, Lynden Thomason. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the 4 p.m. funeral service Saturday, July 2, at the Roberts Funeral Home, 305 Chapple Ave., Ashland, with the Rev. Robert Oberg officiating. Interment will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Regional Hospice of Ashland.
