Gertrude A. Schultz

Gertrude A. Schultz went to be with her Savior and Lord on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011, at Avalon Square at the age of 97. She was born in Milwaukee on Oct. 30, 1913, to Emil and Clara Gaulke.

She was a lifelong member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her son, Harold E. (Audrae) Schultz; one grandson, Dr. Mark (Dr. Elizabeth) Schultz; two greatgrandchildren, Daniel and Lara Schultz; one sister Edna Priefer; two brothers, Alfred Gaulke and Paul (Shirley) Gaulke; and one sister-in-law, June Schultz of Ocala, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Anita Grimm, Hildegard Brandt and Jeanette Narlow; four brothers-in-law, Lester Grimm, Robert Brandt, Robert Narlow and Harvey Priefer; and one sister-in-law, Pearl Gaulke. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the 12:30 p.m. funeral service Thursday, March 3, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1052 Whiterock Ave., Waukesha. The Rev. Aaron Christie will officiate. Interment will be at Prairie Home Cemetery.
