Margaret L. Close (nee Smith) found peace Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, at the age of 82.

She was the loving wife of Charles "Jack" Close for 60 years; caring mom of John (Denise) Close, Judy (Lisa) DePaolis-Feingold, Ronnie Close (fiancée Dawn Kolozik), Betty (Mark) Poeppel and Ruth (Sylvester) Anderson; cherished grandma of Chad, Renato (Briana), Matthew, Stacia (Brian), Nicholas, Maggie, Sam, Amy, Justin, Nic, Kyle, Becky, Brenda, Barbara and Dennis; and great-grandma of 10 great-grandchildren. Margaret will also be missed by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Isabell (Smith); her brother, James; sister, Mildred; greataunt, Lillian; granddaughter, Marie Close; and daughter in-law, Debbie.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the 12:30 p.m. funeral service Wednesday, March 2, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha. Interment to follow at Prairie Home Cemetery.
