Warren J. Arndorfer

Dec. 10, 1920 – Feb. 27, 2011

Warren J. Arndorfer, 90, of Eagle, passed away peacefully surrounded by family members Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011, at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc.

Warren was born on Dec. 10, 1920, the son of the late George and Mary Arndorfer. Warren married Dorothy King on Oct. 9, 1948, at St. Casmir Catholic Church in Stevens Point. He was a lifelong resident of Eagle, where he owned and operated his family’s dairy farm. He also was a rural mail carrier in the Eagle area for several years. Warren was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church and a charter member of the Eagle Lions Club. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, traveling and spending his winters in Florida.

Warren is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy of Eagle. He was the cherished father of Donald (Mary Ann) of Somis, Calif., Carol (Anders) Carlson of Palmyra, David of Appleton, Nancy (Jack) Faas of The Colony, Texas, Robert (Carolyn) of Middleton and Peggy (Russell) Iwanski of St. Francis; father-in-law of Deborah of Rochester, Mich., and Jan of Camarillo, Calif.; beloved grandfather of Linda, Dana, Nick, Corinne, Nathan, Kayla, Cara, Jason, Gregory, Emily, Austin and Erin; great-grandfather of Kylie, Addison, Grace, Emma, Logan, Evan and Alyssa; and the dearest brother of Helen Kastenholz of Oak Brook, Ill. Warren was deeply loved and will be remembered by other relatives and many dear friends.

Warren was preceded in death by his oldest son, Kenneth, and two sisters, Isabel McCarthy and Gladys Arndorfer.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the noon Mass of Christian burial Thursday, March 3, at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 136 W. Waukesha Road, Eagle, with the Rev. Dennis Ackeret officiating. Burial will follow at the parish cemetery.
