Josephine C. Kosanke
Pewaukee resident Josephine C. Kosanke (nee Kubiak) passed away Tuesday,
Feb. 22, 2011, with her family at her side. She was 87.
She was the beloved wife of 51 years to the late Paul E. Kosanke; loving mother of Margaret Kosanke, Frank Kosanke, Roberta (Harry)
Koepp, Sue (Steve) Baudo, Charlie (Nancy) Kosanke, Bob (Sue) Kosanke,
Chris (Sally) Kosanke, Patty Kosanke, Andy Kosanke and Paul J. (Dina)
Kosanke; proud grandma of Shelly McDermott, Lynn Bingenheimer, Mandy (Don)
Lichucki, Pam Kosanke, Michael (Amanda) Kosanke, Lisa Kosanke, Sarah
Kosanke, Emily Kosanke, Travis (Caley Ann Olson) Kosanke, Trevor Kosanke,
Samantha Kosanke, Amanda Baudo and Lori (Ryan) Beguin; and proud
great grandma to Emma, Natalie, Joey, Allie and Martha Josephine. She is
further survived by many other loving relatives and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Jerome,
Sylvester, Norbert, Florence, Lucille, Alois and Francis Xavier.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, March
3, at Queen of Apostles Church, N35-W23360 Capitol Drive, Pewaukee.
Visitation continues from 10:30 a.m. until the noon Mass of Christian
burial Friday, March 4, at the church. Burial services will be private.
Josephine taught in the Pewaukee School District for
many years and worked for 20 years at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.
Many thanks to the entire staff of Kirkland Crossings in
Pewaukee and the Vitas Hospice staff. We are so very grateful for
everything you have done for Mom. Memorials are appreciated to Queen of
Apostles Church, the Pewaukee Food Pantry or Step, Inc./Hartfel House.
