Otis
H. Dotter, 93, formerly of Waukesha, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2011,
at Golden Living Center – Golden Age in Tomahawk.
Otis was born April 28, 1917, in Tomahawk, the son of
Henry and Anna Dotter. He was united in marriage to Rose Krueger; she
passed away in 1992.
Otis moved to the Waukesha area in 1938, where he was
employed with Highway Machinery and Dotter Crushing until his retirement
in 1982. He and Rose then moved back to the Tomahawk area, where he worked
as a logger.
Otis was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in World War II.
Survivors include his son, Larry Dotter of Oconomowoc;
grandchildren, Lori Chipman of Dousman, Todd Dotter of Tomahawk and Kari
Tetzlaf of Dousman; and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service for Otis Dotter will be held at 4
p.m. Monday, March 7, at Krueger Family Funeral Home in Tomahawk. The Rev.
Larry Mathein will officiate. The family will receive friends at the
funeral home on Monday from 2 p.m. until the time of services.
