Julia Marie Cartwright (nee Hornak) was born March 28, 1929, and born into eternal life Tuesday, March 8, 2011.

She was the beloved mother of Gary (Ann) Cartwright, Jeanne (Mark) Berres, David (Jacky) Cartwright and Mary (Lester "Bud") Thomas; loving grandma of Ryan, Myranda (Jesse), Andrew, Kimberly, Tony, Owen and Nick; great-grandma of Kendall and Jackson; sister of Harold; and sister-in-law of Nora and Grace Hornak and Marion Cartwright. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Julia was preceded in death by her husband, Gabriel; parents, Joseph and Julia; siblings, Joe Sr., Elise "Ann," Paul, Susie and Adam; sister-in-law, Leona "Sue"; and brothersin-law, Brian and Tony.
 
Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Saturday, March 12, at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 160th Street and National Avenue, New Berlin, followed by a memorial service 11 a.m.
