Norman F. Hardiman
Norman F. Hardiman passed away Monday, March 21, 2011, at the age of 89.
He was the loving husband of the late E. Jean Hardiman; beloved dad of Judy (Dave) Stanley and David (Kathy) Hardiman;
cherished grandpa of Beckie (Paul) Stanley-Tenor, Michelle (Frank) Stanley
Lynch, Erin (David) Knier, Emma and Ella Hardiman; loving great-grandpa of
Zachary Stanley and Samantha and Michael Knier; brother of Leslie Hardiman;
and brother-in-law of James Rhodes. He is further survived by nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends.
Norman served our country in the U.S. Army during
World War II. He retired from Miller Brewery after 30 years of service.
Norman was a longtime member of Galilee Lutheran Church, where he enjoyed
serving, ushering and assisting with the treasury duties. He was an avid
bowler. In his spare time, he loved to go golfing and doing some
gardening.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.
Friday, March 25, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road
(at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha, with
the funeral service at 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Lung
Association or the American Cancer Society are appreciated.
