Viola ‘Vi’ Ebeling
Aug. 31, 1934 – March 25, 2011
Viola "Vi" Ebeling of Waukesha passed
away peacefully Friday, March 25, 2011, at age 76.
Viola was born Aug. 31, 1934, the daughter of
Harold and Alvera (Eberhardy) Robbins in Marshfield. She married the love
of her life, Erwin Ebeling, on Feb. 24, 1951, and they just celebrated
their 60th wedding anniversary. Viola was a longtime member of St. John
Neumann Catholic Church, where she was a prayer chain leader. She owned
and operated Vi’s Ceramics in Waukesha for many years. Viola also
published an Eberhardy family genealogy book. Most of all, Viola loved
spending time with her family.
Viola will be sadly missed by her husband, Erwin,
and her children, Pamela (Evan Howard) Ebeling and Kurt (Cindy) Ebeling.
She is the loving grandmother of Angela Ebeling, Katelyn Dyer and Lauren
Dyer. Viola is further survived by her brothers, Harold (Joan) Robbins and
Richard (the late Debbie) Robbins; sisters, Donna Mae (the late Bob)
Fillion and Linda Robbins; son-in-law, Jim Dyer; and nieces, nephews,
other relatives and friends.
Viola was preceded in death by her daughter,
Sandra Dyer.
Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the
noon Mass of Christian burial Friday, April 1, at St. John Neumann
Catholic Church, 2400 Highway 59, Waukesha. The Rev. John Schreiter will
officiate. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
