John ‘Jack’ E. Lueck

John "Jack" E. Lueck, 67, of Waukesha, passed away Monday, May 2, 2011, at Waukesha Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Jack was born Dec. 11, 1943, the son of John and Bernice (Hornbeck) Lueck. He graduated from Superior State University and was a longtime resident of the Mukwonago area. Jack was a member of the First Congregational Church of Mukwonago and the Palmyra Masonic Lodge.

He was the cherished brother of Joyce (Jerry) Babcock of Racine; special uncle of Amy (Dean) Schmitz of Minnesota and Jared (Amy) Babcock of Muskego; father of Daniel (Melissa) Lueck of Texas; and grandfather of Amanda. Jack was loved and will be remembered by many dear friends at Waukesha Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center and ACAP.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bernice.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Robert Schellinger, Waukesha Health and Rehabilitation Center and ACAP for their excellent care.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service Friday, May 6, at Mealy’s Funeral Home, 103 W. Eagle St., Eagle, with the Rev. Rick Hartley officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 7, at Hillside Cemetery in Palmyra; please meet at the cemetery.
