Jennifer ‘Jeni’ Lynn McDermott

Jennifer Lynn McDermott of Waukesha passed away peacefully with her parents and siblings by her side Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at age 37.

Jennifer resided most of her life in Waukesha. She was born in Waukesha on May 3, 1974, a daughter of Richard and Susan (nee Folker) McDermott. Jennifer was a dedicated mother who truly loved her children. They were her world and she enjoyed volunteering at their schools.

 Jennifer loved shopping, was known for her love of shoes and had been nicknamed "Fashionista." She was currently attending WCTC.

She will be deeply missed by her children, Hailey (12), Ryan (9) and Connor (8) Kett; her parents, Richard and Susan McDermott of Waukesha; and her siblings, Laura McDermott (Russ Ratan) of Mesa, Ariz., Karri McDermott of Waukesha, Dan (Renee) McDermott of Albany and Joe McDermott of Waukesha. Jennifer is further survived by her grandmother, Geraldine Folker of West Allis, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her niece and bestest buddy, Megan Emily Sue McDermott.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the 5 p.m. time of sharing Tuesday, May 17, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha.
