Marvin Roger Rutta, 58, born in Stevens Point on May 13, 1952, and passed away Thursday, May 5, 2011, in Tallahassee, Fla.

Born in Stevens Point, Marv resided in Waukesha until three years ago when he moved to Tallahassee to live with his daughter, Becki.

Marv will be remembered for his love for his family, for his strong will to survive through his long illness and for his love of a good joke.

A private service was held at Big Bend Hospice in Tallahassee. A memorial gathering is being planned in Stevens Point this summer, where his ashes will be spread at his favorite hunting site.
