Joseph M. McMahon, 80, of Oconomowoc, entered eternal life Saturday, May 21, 2011, at AngelsGrace Hospice. Joe was born Aug. 16, 1930, in Oconomowoc, to Clarence McMahon and Margaret Koehler.
Joseph was an insurance claims adjuster. He grew up on a dairy farm in Oconomowoc township. He was a graduate of Oconomowoc High School and attended Marquette University. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Joe was a member of the Milwaukee and Waukesha Civil War Round Table. He was a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society and was a proud Green Bay Packers ticket holder since 1957. Joseph was a longtime member of St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church.
Joseph is survived by his children, Gayle (Don) Caya of Wales, Tim (Mary) of Baltimore, Md., Molly McMahon of St. Paul, Minn., and James (Sandy) of Oconomowoc. He was the fond brother of Jim (Geri) McMahon of Waukesha; dear grandfather of Kasie, Elise, Ben, Jake, Alison, Clare and Kyle; and great-grandfather of Cameron and Jaden.
Friends may visit from 3:30 p.m. until the 5 p.m. funeral Mass on Thursday, May 26, at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church, N8512 Brown St., Mapleton. His final rest will be in St. Catherine Cemetery.

Joe is loved by his entire family and will be dearly missed.
