Robert C. ‘Bob’ Halsey

Nov. 8, 1941 – Oct. 29, 2011

Robert C. "Bob" Halsey passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, at the age of 69. He was born to the late Donald and Virginia Halsey of Syracuse, N.Y.

Bob married Margaret Becker on June 12, 1965.

He is survived by his loving wife and soul mate of 46 years, Margaret. He is further survived by his son, Rob (Holly); daughter, Rebecca (Peter) Schmidt; his beloved grandchildren, Zach, Nick, Max and Clair; brothers, Curtis and Steven; and sisters, Kathleen and Martha. He will also be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Bob loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was loved by everyone and was known for his sense of humor and sharp wit. Bob graduated from Marquette University. He worked at IBM, was news editor for the Waukesha Freeman, press aid for Congressman Glen Davis, public relations manager for Rexnord and manager in sales promotion and advertising for Envirex. He was owner and partner in Grasso Halsey advertising. He ended his career at McGlinchey and Associates Advertising. His favorite job in retirement was working on his data base.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the noon Mass of Christian burial Wednesday, Nov. 2, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave., Waukesha. Interment to follow at Prairie Home Cemetery.
