Joe enjoyed golf, card games, watching the Packers, Badgers and Brewers, and playing bingo with Ellie. But his passion was his family, and he was happiest when sharing holiday meals, birthday celebrations or other family gatherings with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Joe proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He retired from Heil Corp. in 1986 after 43 years of employment.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Waukesha Memorial Hospital for their care and compassion over the course of the last several weeks, with special appreciation to Dr. Kerry Case and Bonnie Schuenke.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joe’s name appreciated to Ascension Lutheran Church for their mission to help the underprivileged or the charity of your choosing.
The visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. memorial service Friday, Nov. 4, at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1415 Dopp St., Waukesha, WI 53188.
