Ann E. Gukich (nee Rebernisek)

Ann E. Gukich (nee Rebernisek), 88, passed away peacefully Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, at AngelsGrace Hospice. She was born Aug. 30, 1923, to the late Louis and Mary (Winkler) Rebernisek.

On Jan. 27, 1945, she was united in marriage to Eli Gukich, who preceded her in death on July 16, 1977.

She was the loving mother of Mark and Milan (Lora May).

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her son, Lance Cpl. Michael; her daughter, Mary Ann; three brothers, John, Frank and Martin Rebernisek; two sisters, Mary Bistan and Josephine Zinko; and a longtime friend, Joe Kokosin.

Ann was a proud Gold Star Mother, a member of the Catholic Study Group and a 60-plus-year member of SNPJ Lodge No. 764.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the noon Mass of Christian burial Wednesday, Nov. 9, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 255 S. Hartwell Ave., Waukesha. Interment to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
