Wesley LaRue Kading

Sept. 9, 1928 - Nov. 4, 2011

Wesley LaRue Kading of Waukesha, born Sept. 9, 1928, in Whitewater, passed into eternal life after a long illness Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, at the age 83.

Wesley was a graduate of Waukesha High School. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving on the USS Thompson. He was also a retiree of Ridge Motor Parts of Waukesha. Wesley spent many years league bowling at Fracaro’s Lanes, Waukesha. An expert pistol shooter, Wesley won many first place awards (Fletcher Arms).

He is survived by his sons, John S. Kading and Michael A. (Kelli) Kading; granddaughters, Dana (Bryon) Millis, Danielle (David) Peterson and Sarah (Caleb) Gibson; great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, LaRue and Hilda Kading; a sister, Karen Sparrow; and a son, Wesley L. Kading II.

A very special thanks to Marvin and Maddie Goetter (the best friend anyone could ask for), Hal and Rose Gjerdset, Waukesha Memorial Hospital and AngelsGrace Hospice for the loving care given to Wesley.

Services will be held at later date at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove.
