Arlen E. Langton
March 30, 1931 – Nov. 24, 2011
Arlen E. Langton of Waukesha, born March 30, 1931, in Waukesha, found
peace Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer at
the age of 80.
He was the beloved husband of Sally (nee Kauffman) for 55 years; loving
father of Scott (Elaine), Jeffrey (Barbara) and Cindy Langton; proud
grandfather of Nick, Alex, Hannah and Chloe Langton; brother-in-law of
David (Dorothy) Kaufman; and dear uncle of David J. (Charlotte)
Kauffman, Steve Kauffman and Kathy (Bob) Hronek. He is also loved and
survived by great-nieces and -nephews, other relatives and friends.
Arlen retired as a quality engineer at Waukesha Engine after 46 years of
dedicated service. He was a former president of the Waukesha Engine
Historical Society, also former president of International Management
Council-Waukesha Chapter. He served many years in the National Guard. A
graduate of Pewaukee High School, Arlen also attended the Milwaukee
School of Engineering. Arlen enjoyed fishing, hunting and boating, but
most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the noon funeral service
Tuesday, Nov. 29, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road
(at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha.
Entombment to follow at Prairie Home Cemetery.
