Rita Anna Eisenach (nee Pepe) of Forsyth County, Georgia, formerly of Waukesha, died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011, at the age of 84. She was born Sept. 18, 1927, in Dunbar, Pa., grew up in Bronx, N.Y., and moved to Wisconsin in 1950.

Rita had a passion for giving to others, which included starting the Town of Brookfield Park and Recreation Department and running it as a volunteer for more than 25 years. Rita also led the development of Marx Park on Barker Road in the Town of Brookfield. She was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed sharing and teaching her artistic talents with her family. She even started her own miniature craft business at the age of 70. Rita will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother and grandmother as family was her main passion.

Remembering her youthful spirit, she will be sadly missed by her children and their spouses, Patricia (Mark) Hill of Jacksonville, Fla., Robert (Nancy) Eisenach II of Waukesha, Jo Ann (Dan) Kopshinsky of Waukesha, Carol (Mac) Edge of Suwanne, Ga., John (Carol) Eisenach of Alpharetta, Ga., Mariann (Mike) Simpson of Cumming, Ga., Terri (Scott) Martin of Delafield and Donna (Peter) Carpenter of Alpharetta. Rita is the loving and devoted grandmother of Mark (Anna) Hill, Elizabeth (Patrick) Pothen, Leandra (Caleb) Stewart, Lindsey Eisenach, Jennifer Kopshinsky, Dan Kopshinsky Jr., Christopher Edge, Michael Edge, Christopher Eisenach, Amanda Eisenach, Samantha Eisenach, Melissa Eisenach, Megan Doyle, Kaitlyn Doyle, Jack Doyle, Erin Doyle, Dennis Simpson, Michael Martin, Claire Martin, Elizabeth Martin, Kelly Carpenter and Christie Carpenter, and a great granddaughter, Charlotte Hill. She is further survived by other loving relatives and friends.

Rita was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Robert Eisenach, and her son, James Edward Eisenach.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service Wednesday, Oct. 12, at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Interment will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery.
