Lois Ann Zenner

Lois Ann Zenner (nee Ahrens) found peace with the Lord on Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, at the age of 86. She joins her husband, Wilbur Martin; son, Paul Martin; and second husband, Walter Zenner.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Chris (Larry) Litwin; her grandchildren, Ryan (Diane) Litwin and Megan (Jim) Tsimpidis; four great-grandchildren, Amanda and Morgan Litwin and Kai and Cruz Tsimpidis; nephew, Robin (Debbie) Martin; stepchildren, John (Diana), Tom (the late Donna) Zenner and Mary (Harold) Webster. Lois is further survived by other loving relatives and dear friends.

Lois had just celebrated her 86th birthday with family Sept. 28.

Lois was born in Mukwonago and resided there her entire life. She spent numerous winters in Sun City, Ariz., with many of her friends from the Mukwonago area. Lois started working at Citizens Bank of Mukwonago as a teenager, holding numerous positions from teller to vice president, and finally, ending her service with the bank on the board of directors from which she just recently retired. She enjoyed needlework, traveling, knitting, reading and gardening. Lois was a generous and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be deeply missed. She was truly one of a kind.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, at the First Congregational Church of Mukwonago, 231 Roberts Drive, with funeral services beginning at 6 p.m. Interment will be private at Oak Knoll Cemetery in Mukwonago. Memorials may be given to the First Congregational Church of Mukwonago.

The family would like to thank Dr. Martin Kern and the ICU staff at Waukesha Memorial for the loving and tender care they provided for Lois, as well as the support and comfort to the family during this time
