Joseph
Piotrowski, Sgt. 1st Class, Ret. U.S. Army, 58, of East Troy, found peace
Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011, at his home after an aggressive battle with cancer.
He was the son of Jerome and Maymie (nee Shawley) Piotrowski.
Joseph
was a proud retiree of the
U.S. Army, to which he served for more than 21 years. He enjoyed family,
fishing and hunting.
He
was the beloved husband of 32 years to Donna (nee Brooks). He is also
survived by his daughters, Tina (Andy) Foust of California and Sheila
(Allen) Newman of East Troy; son, Matthew (U.S. Navy); his favorite buddy
and granddaughter, Kassandra; grandchildren, Jonathan and Madison;
brothers, James (Connie) of White Lake, Jack (Judith) of Waukesha and John
(Linda) of Cataract; sisters, Jean (John) LeQuesne of Onalaska and Jane
(Shawn) Baldwin of Wilton; and special friends, Theresa Newbury and Seth
Horvat. He is further survived by his parents-in-law, Robert and Marion
Brooks; brothers-in-law, Kevin, Robert (Faye) and Travis (Tina);
sister-in-law, Valerie; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins,
nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
He
was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Jerome.
Visitation
will be held from 10 a.m. until the noon memorial service Saturday, Oct.
15, at Legacy Funeral Services, 2974 Main St., East Troy.
In
lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
A

regional cancer center in Mukwonago.
