Gene C. Dresdow
Gene Charles Dresdow passed away Monday, Aug. 1, 2011, in LaVerne, Calif., after a long journey with Parkinsonís disease.
He will be missed profoundly by his loving wife, Rosemary Dresdow; his daughters, Kristine Losito and Connie Genton; sons-in-law, David Losito and Jonathan Genton; and grandchildren, Alex Losito, Cara Losito and Annabel Genton. His brother, Jim Dresdow, and sisters Betty Jirik, Sherry LaVerrenz and Penny Skyrud also will miss their brother Gene.
Gene Dresdow grew up in Waukesha and moved in 1980 to southern California, where he was vice president of studio services for 20 years at Warner Brothers studios. He most loved spending time with his wife and family. He fully enjoyed his career with Warner Brothers and living in a warm climate for the last 31 years.
A memorial Mass was held at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church in San Dimas, Calif., on Aug. 10. The service was a celebration of his life, and was attended by family and friends.
Gene will be remembered for his sense of humor, his quiet intelligence and his kindness to everyone. He was respected by all and loved by all who knew him.
