Stanley M. Barnhill, of Waukesha, was born to
eternal life on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at
the age of 54.
He was born on Dec. 13, 1956, the son of Ernest
and Helen (nee Ponds) Barnhill. He accepted Christ at an early age.
He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Dra’El
Barnhill; grandson, Desmond; stepdaughter, Otecia; his mother, Helen (Joe
Fagan) Barnhill of Pensacola, Fla.; brothers and sisters Carmen Barnhill
of Milwaukee, Jerdie (Clara) Barnhill of Triangle, Va., Althea (Glen)
Stemley of Aurora, Colo., Hilliary Barnhill of Urbana, Fla., Kelly
(Dennis) Ross of Milwaukee and Dana (Delmar) Nesbitt of Champaign, Ill. He
is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He
was preceded in death by his father and his former wife, Edna Barnhill.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the 11
a.m. funeral service Monday, Sept. 19, from at First United Methodist
Church, 121 Wisconsin Ave. in Waukesha. The Rev. Dan Schwerin will
preside. Graveside services will take place at 1:30 p.m. at Prairie Home
Cemetery. Please meet at the cemetery office.
