June Louise Trent (nee Silkey)
July 3, 1919 – Sept. 28, 2011
June Louise Trent (nee Silkey) of Waukesha was called home to be with
the Lord on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011, at Waukesha Springs at the age of
92. June was born July 3, 1919, the daughter of Earl and Mallie Silkey
in Danville, Ill.
She was a member of the First Congregational Church, where she was
involved in the Circle group and Church Women United. In her younger
years in Danville, she was a past queen of Job’s Daughters. June enjoyed
needlework, crafting, gardening and music. Most of all, she loved
spending time with her family.
June will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Judith (Richard) Horn of
Pickerington, Ohio, and Janet (James) McGraw of Waukesha; her
grandchildren, John (Trisha) Horn, Bill Horn, Stacey (Tim) Joseph and
Scott (fiancee Michelle Angst) McGraw; and great-grandchildren, Taylor
Horn, Amber Paschke and Maddie Joseph. She is further survived by a
nephew, other relatives and friends.
June was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur, and brother, Clarence
Silkey.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service
Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237
N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. The Rev. Ralph Schultz will be officiating.
Entombment will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
