Esther M. Peterson

April 28, 1928 – April 21, 2012


Esther M. Peterson (nee Hengst) of Lake Beulah passed away peacefully Saturday, April 21, 2012, at the age of 83, just one week shy of her 84th birthday. Esther will be joining her husband James, her mother and father and many brothers and sisters. Heaven opened the doors and lovingly embraced Esther.

She was the caring and loving mother of Jan (Dave) Brown, Carol (Mark) McGinn, Barbara (Tim) Lobdell and Joyce (Forest Morkin) Peterson; proud grandmother of Sandy (Brian Larson) Brown, Brienne (Jerry) Zaboklicki and Lauren McGinn and Aaron and Corey (Shyhla) Lobdell; and dear great-grandmother “Gramma at the lake” of twins Amira and Adilyn and her newest great-granddaughter Olivia. She will also be missed by her special friend in Christ, Linda Yopps. She is further survived by many other loving relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. Thursday, April 26, at Vernon Evangelical Lutheran Church, S90-W27550 National Ave. (Highway ES), Mukwonago, with the celebration of Esther’s life beginning at 7 p.m. Burial will be private at Troy Lakes Cemetery in the Town of East Troy.

Memorials in Esther’s name may be directed to her church.

Esther touched the lives of so many people, always with a hug. Her smile, laughter and quick wit often left the room with resounding laughter.
