Joanne
Suzette (Stone) Hansen found eternal peace Saturday, July 28, 2012, at the
age of 58, surrounded by her family at Seasons Hospice, after a courageous
battle with lung cancer for the past year.
Joanne
was born July 23, 1954, in Kalamazoo, Mich. She lived in Waukesha for the
past 36 years. She married her best friend and loving husband, Todd
Hansen, in 1994. She enjoyed gardening, counted cross-stitch, and
crocheting.
She
is survived by her husband, Todd, and stepson, Corey Hansen, sister Marie
(Butch) Manheim, brother Bob (Donna) Stone, brother Joe Stone, brother
Douglas (Cynthia) Stone, 13 nieces and nephews and many relatives and
friends.
She
was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Michelle; her parents,
Douglas M. and Pearl Stone; and brother Michael Stone.
No
services will be held by her request. A private memorial will be held
Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012.
