Irene
A. Uhlmann (nee Kempf) joined her husband, Walter,
on Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012,
at the age of 94.
She
was the devoted mom of Paula (Martin) Tubbs and Kenneth (the late Nancy)
Uhlmann, grandma of six and great-grandma of 13; and sister of Henry Kempf.
She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Irene
was a faithful, strong willed woman; when going through a tough situation
she would turn to her faith and with that she would succeed. She enjoyed
crocheting, baking and helping others. Her grandchildren will always have
a little of Irene with them at Christmas because she crocheted each of
them a tree skirt. She was the most happy when she could be doing anything
to help others and if she was not, she was not happy.
Visitation
will be held from 9 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m. funeral service Wednesday,
Aug. 15, at Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, N49-W35181 Wisconsin
Ave., Okauchee. Entombment will be at Glenview Memorial Gardens, Ixonia.
In
lieu of flowers, memorials to the church in Irene’s name would be
appreciated.
