Ronald W. Mason of Menomonee Falls died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012 at the age of 80. Ron was born in Milwaukee on June 4, 1932, the son of Charles and Veronica (nee Doyle) Mason. He was united in marriage to Doris Bell on Jan. 10, 1959. Ron was employed at Wisconsin Energy for over 44 years. He was a member of St. Mary Parish and former member of St. Anthony Parish both of Menomonee Falls. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

Ron will be sadly missed by his son, Father Brian G. Mason of Milwaukee; daughter, Andria (Tim) Farrand of Germantown; and grandchildren Tony and Ally Farrand. Ron is also survived by other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris, and his parents.

A funeral Mass of Christian burial for Ron will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, at 6 p.m. at St. Mary Parish, N89-W16297 Cleveland Ave., Menomonee Falls, WI 53051. Father Brian G. Mason will be officiating. The visitation will be held on Tuesday at the church from 3 p.m. until the 6 p.m. Mass. Burial with military honors will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 22, at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery, Menomonee Falls (meet at the cemetery). Masses are appreciated in Ron and Doris’ name or memorials may be directed to St. Mary Parish (see address above) or Catholic East Elementary School, 2461 N. Murray Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53211.
